The Opportunity:

The E-Commerce Operations Executive is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction for Sephora Australia and New Zealand. This position will sit within the wider E-Commerce team and will work closely with our local team and regional counterparts to develop programs and processes to deliver a seamless customer experience online. The E-Commerce Operations Executive should have the passion to communicate and interact with customers through various channels, be personable and enjoy solving customer problems.

  • Being the point of contact for the Customer Service centre to resolve high level issues relating to local campaigns, last mile issues, brand related issues and local cultural topics.
  • Responding to Social Media inquiries and feedback that will improve the customer experience
  • Being the point of contact for ACCC, Fairtrade and other governing bodies for ANZ, managing any reporting requirements that arise.
  • Planning and executing customer surveys, reports and workshops to improve Sephora’s understanding of customer behaviour.
  • Regularly updating of the FAQs and customer response templates
  • Being the POC for Sephora gift card generation, working with external partners to fulfil orders
  • QR Code and Barcode creation for campaign activations
  • The setup of e-commerce gift with purchases, working with external teams such as category, demand planning and logistics to coordinate.
  • Monitoring and reporting on customer satisfaction


We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have 3-4 years of experience in E-Commerce or marketing.
  • Are familiar with the Australian Beauty retail market
  • Have an excellent understanding of existing and emerging digital marketing trends
  • Have previous marketing experience with a beauty and/or retail brand is a plus
  • Have experience in a customer service position (in store or an e-commerce environment)
  • Understand the importance of team culture and dynamics
